The purpose of this session is to assist appraisers in the reconstruction and interpretation of income and expense statements.  This workshop concentrates on the following areas:

• USPAP Review
• Income approach definition and formulas
• Forms and methods for data gathering and additional sources
• Templates for storing and using data
• Review of reconstructing income and expense statements
• Data analysis and interpretation

To be able to analysis income and expense statements, appraisers need to have a good understanding of the income approach.

This knowledge should include what questions to ask and how the questions should be asked.

This workshop will review the basics of the income approach, as familiarity is necessary to accomplish the goal of interpreting the data received.
