Frequently Asked Questions

1) How do I get my certificates?

This depends on the vendor. If the course is from DPT, the certificate can be found here:

If the course is from Appraisal Institute, ASFMRA, IAAO, or McKissock, they will provide the certificate directly to the student. Most other certificates are issued by the CATA board.

Yes. We review the available food and catering options provided by the venue each year. Similar to other venues, Beaver Run requires us to use their approved food and beverage catering services, and outside catering is not allowed.
Conference costs are reflective of year-over-year price increases, including rising venue, lodging, catering, instructional, and administrative expenses. CATA carefully reviews available options and works to keep all costs as reasonable as possible while still providing a quality conference. These costs are not unique to Beaver Run Resort and are common for conferences of this size.
Breckenridge offers a central mountain location for those traveling from the Western Slope or Eastern Plains and has venue options that can accommodate our conference size, classroom needs, and lodging requirements.
Many Front Range and Denver-area venues either cannot meet our lodging requirements, classroom needs, or overall conference space needs, or they do so at a significantly higher cost. Holding the conference in Breckenridge allows us to better meet those requirements while still providing a quality experience for attendees.
Registration fees help cover administrative costs, instructor costs, classroom and meeting space, conference materials, and a portion of catering expenses. These expenses are necessary to provide quality education options and networking opportunities for attendees.
