ADM 935: This course provides information to ensure that students understand how to locate, list, classify, and value manufactured homes for ad valorem taxation in Colorado. The course covers terminology used in identifying various types of manufactured homes, as well as the parties involved in the appraisal/assessment process. This course provides the student with an overview of Constitutional and Statutory laws related to manufactured home valuation. The course provides the student with the understanding of manufactured home construction methods and documentation used to affix the homes to the land. Students will learn how to classify manufactured homes based on use and how to list properties on assessment records. The course covers ownership requirements, including the use of various forms and certificates needed for moving, affixing, titling, and demolishing manufactured homes.
