Property Tax Appeals – Expert Witness Bootcamp

This course is intended to offer a comprehensive training to assist appraisers in developing the confidence and skills to present persuasive expert testimony in property tax appeal matters. The course will briefly explore the various roles appraisers play in such appeals, the various types of appeals, and what the appraiser should expect as an appeal winds through the appeal process. The course will then turn to its primary focus, which is to educate and train appraisers how to develop the various skills, techniques, and methods to make them an effective expert witness. The course will be interactive, combining both audio and visual presentation with various one-on-one and group role-play activities to enhance the presentation.
