Using Excel Data Model for Value Compliance Review

This hands-on course teaches participants to build an Excel Data Model using real-world appraisal data. Students will use a sales dataset that is the basis for the Colorado State Auditor sales file with additional information to allow the ability to analyze ratios, determine compliance with value standards, and produce automated ratio-study reports. The course outlines 7 modules—from ratio study basics through dashboarding and refresh/maintenance—using the JeffcoMasterSales 2026 dataset and moving from a Raw data file to a Final file. Learners practice importing, cleaning, relationships, DAX measures (Median Ratio, COD, PRD), and building an interactive dashboard.
